Jim DeFilippi

Crime novelist and humor writer Jim DeFilippi joined the ranks of BROWN FEDORA BOOKS authors hoping to get a free hat.  His novels have been called "Suspenseful, often hilarious" by Newsday and "Excellently paced and imaginatively told" by Publishers Weekly.  His books include BLOOD SUGAR ("Jaunty tone and unexpected twists" --Library Journal) and DUCK ALLEY ("A terrific tale, a superbly crafted novel"-- Cleveland Plain Dealer)

In addition to numerous crime and humor books, Jim has also written THE MULES OF MONTE CASSINO, a strange non-fiction retelling of the grizzliest battle of World War II, written under the pseudonym of Henry Grif.
